Weekly Photo Challenge: Waiting

Hi F&F,

Here is my challenge entry; a photo captured with my cellphone and a haiku written while waiting.

Waiting for the train

Expecting transportation

Hoping for journey

About atreegrowsinbklyn

I’m an analog girl living in a digital world. I’m happy except when I’m sad. I’m serious, smart and sophisticated except when I’m silly, obtuse and crude. I’m ambitious and disciplined; except when I’m apathetic and self indulgent. I‘m thoughtful, generous and honest; except when I’m insensitive, cheap and lying. I’m grateful; I’m grateful; I am grateful.

Great capture and I can’t help but notice this “I’m happy except when I’m sad” – so contradicting but so true haha

    • I’m glad you liked the picture for the challenge and my profile. I am a walking, talking contradiction and it is a quality that both attracts people and repels them. I am a Gemini; and if you believe in astrology then I can confirm that I possess many of characteristics of that astrological sign.

    Fantastic shot, Tree!
And I like the nuanced, subtle haiku 😉

  3. Northern Narratives says:

    Great photo 🙂

  4. I was trying to write a smart & funny comment here, but it’s early in the morning so I couldn’t come up with anything. Besides I’m sleepy & I gotta go to work.

Excellent shot… Love the pattern on the walls. 🙂

Comments, questions and suggestions are welcome. The occasional ping is music to my ears.
